The Wheel of Life, the Test That Helps us Improve Ourselves
Do you happen to feel dissatisfied? Would you like to change but don’t know where to start? Do you often feel unhappy but can’t get out of it? The Wheel of Life is a simple test that helps to focus on the problem in order to be able to solve it later.
The Wheel of Life lets you understand which areas of your life work and those in which you have to invest a little more energy. In fact, before starting any transformation process, it is important to do self-analysis, which is to understand what makes you feel bad and what you feel very satisfied with.
This is why this very old and used test in the field of psychology can help you change something. It is a balance tool that identifies the areas of life and the value you give them. These are the standard ones, but everyone can use the ones in which he finds himself the most.
1. The Wheel of life, how to take the test
Draw a circle in a sheet and divide it into portions (they can vary depending on the categories you choose). Next to each area write a sector of life that represents you, for example, health, family, money, personal growth or even free time, friends, personal image and so on.
Once identified, divide the circle into different squares by numbering as shown in the image below. For each category, a score from 0 to 10 is given: where zero indicates that one is dissatisfied with that thing, while 10 is completely satisfied, the numbers in the meantime are growing.
It is clear that each category should be evaluated based on how you feel in the present. Once you have completed the whole circle, join all the scores you have assigned with a line: the category that will be closest to the center will be the one that makes you unhappy or you want to change (obviously it can be more than one).

2.The Wheel of Life, how to analyze the results
Every person has something to improve in their lives, even a little. We must not be discouraged because everyone can change with a little courage and conviction, above all because many categories depend on each other, such as personal growth with a career or a job.
Or even a low score given to free time can be caused by little economic availability or too much work.
3. Here’s how to read the results
3.1 Rating from 8 to 10
The category that has achieved this score is one in which you are satisfied, it means that you are working well on yourself and you can continue to do what you do, also seeing improvements.
3.2
Rating from 5 to 7
You are partially satisfied but there is something you could improve.
3.3 Evaluation from 0 to 4
Do not be discouraged, you are already at a good point because you have focused on the problem that afflicts you, start working on this category to understand what you can or want to improve.

4. Analyze the answers
Once the result is obtained, you can start setting goals, for example setting dates and deadlines to improve things. Three months, six months, a year? Why has that category been so neglected so far? What do I want to start with?
All questions that everyone can find inside himself, because a test is a tool, but change is a mental status that starts only from his own will.
